Welcome to the website for Healing Grounds Massage and Mark Quintana, LMT. I'm a licensed massage therapist located in the Pinehurst neighborhood of Seattle. I've been helping people relax and heal since 1997 and welcome the opportunity to be your massage therapist.
Mark Quintana, LMT
I graduated from Seattle Massage School in 1997, and had a diverse work history for the first 5 years of my massage practice. I worked for chiropractors, medical doctors and other massage therapists. I also worked in salons, spas, and even the airport, all while maintaining a mobile massage practice.
Since graduating from massage school in 1997, my continuing education focus has included seated massage, myofascial release, cupping, intraoral massage, and acupressure. I am endorsed to provide Intra-Oral Massage and am a Certified Cupping Therapist.
I opened Healing Grounds Massage in 2002 to help people heal from injuries ranging from whiplash and pain from car accidents to work-related injuries, including those from computer work such as carpal tunnel syndrome.
I offer massage therapy to people from all walks of life, including teachers, artists, students, computer workers, pregnant people, athletes, weekend warriors, physical trainers, flight attendants, veterans , people living with anxiety or depression, and trauma survivors. I also serve people who simply want to relax and forget about life!
I believe massage therapy can be an essential part of your self-care regimen and can be a powerful tool to transform your life. I receive massage on a regular basis; I am an avid cyclist and runner and know the value of a body that works efficiently and pain-free. I may recommend stretches and exercises to aid your particular situation. I also have a good referral network of area practitioners if additional or alternative care is indicated

Cash, check, and debit/credit cards are accepted, as well as HSA and FSA cards.
Payment is due at the time of service.
INSURANCE
If you plan to use insurance to pay for your visit, we require a prescription/referral. Your out-of-pocket portion of the payment is due at the time of service.
Please note that insurance does not pay for relaxation massage.
As a courtesy, insurance billing is provided. Please verify your benefits before scheduling. We recommend confirming the following:
- Do I have massage therapy benefits?
- Is Healing Grounds Massage a preferred/in-network provider?
- May massage be performed by a LMT? (some require MD, DPT, etc.)
- Does massage require prior authorization?
- Is massage subject to copay/coinsurance/deductible?

- Motor vehicle accidents/Personal Injury Protection (PIP)
